I'd retired my muskie rod to the car after no success this afternoon. I decided to concentrate on walleye when this 36" muskie surprised me and hammered my grub. It made my day! First one of 2005...
Gotta love my deer-in-the-headlights stupid look, LOL!

It was pretty warm, although extremely windy! It was a tough day I caught the largest carp of my life and this fish, which saved my day.
This is the pic of the carp, the snow in the background gives you a better temperature perspective.

My Mom was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in December and I moved back to spend time with her and help out...
This was one of the few times I got out.

Thanks, unfortunately she is terminal. I'm gonna try to stay up here, I just get in an outdoor groove here, both hunting and fishing.
