any of those browns going to be mounted?

CBH, yes:
Jon kept the two pictured for table fare, and I kept the big one for wall fare ;D
Oh Lord - there he is, it feels like a big one, please don\'t let me lose him, I\'ve never caught one this big before.  I\'ll try not to horse him, and if I land him, I promise to release him, and make a graphite replica, if my wife says it\'s ok.  Thank you for the Rapalas...

What a crazy week it has been.  The fall bite is here, and in full swing, I've been doing my best to take advantage of it.  Earlier in the week I did a bit of bass fishing.

pics from my solo trip

3lber

Hammer handle (I usually don't even bother touching them, thank god for pliers)

Bigger bass almost 4lbs

lil' bigger one, we'll call him an axe handle ::)

Big bass 4lbs 10oz

Went with my buddy Mike and his brother Mark.  I ended up having hot hand for the day.

Mike with one

4lber

'nother 4lber

*not pictured was a 5lb 8oz largemouth that I caught, my camera farked up and didn't save the pics >:(

Jon and I went trout fishing yesterday.  We were supposed to meet up with Devil-Man, but things got screwed up and we missed him.  Sorry Mike. :-[

We started at the first creek, but after getting moved in on, and a lack of fish, we moved on to another creek.  Lots of fish there.

Jon's big fish for the day 13lbs

After catching all these fish, and some more not photo'd, an older gent moved right in on us.  We were fishing a hole on a small creek about 8 feet wide.  After I showed him the error of his ways, he left saying "there's no trout in there anyway".  Yeah, right.  We got back to fishing, and had fresh fish moving through the entire rest of the time.

Jon with an not-so-fresh ratty old king that fought like hell surprisingly.

little spawned out 'bow

I ended up keeping my biggest fish of the day to eat, that was a mistake  11lbs 10oz

Well we didn't have any vehicle problems this time, so aside from missing Mike, it was a pretty good day.
