Long Pond and Tunk will go out tonight if we get the rain and wind they are predicting. Long Pond has alot of open water showing and Tunk is WICKED black. I did not check Fox Pond.

Long Pond is out EXCEPT a ribbon of ice stretching across the narrows. Landing all clear. Tunk Lake, white caps in the big section. Southern end looks to be still iced in. Landing which was clear a few days ago is now blocked. Ice filled the cove overnight. Springriver Lake had white caps way off the landing. The landing itself is still iced in and still white out to a hundred yards. Fox Pond is completely out. Landing is clear and usable. As of 11:30 AM today.

Thunder and lighting here now. Bring her down. I don't want to see as much as an ice cube come morning.

Tonight at midnight on top of Catherine's hill is no place to be! The snow melting off and the temp dropping, going to be lots of fog. She likes fog.
