Yo KP, I loved the first article you referenced. Please note the one conservationist comment. “They have beautiful blue eyes, and are fun to watch". All I know is the nesting population on the Carl Island at Sandy Pond has diminished from previous years. It may be a good sign or a bad sign, (meaning they have already depleted the food source)
Fished the lake this afternoon after work with Jake. She was rippin' pretty good. Went to an area where we never have fished scouting for perch. We found them. We only had a dozen and a half of minnows. We got 23 nice jumbos before running out of bait. NONE of the bait shops around the lake had any minnows today. Go figure. Water temp was down to 67* Things are really starting to happen out there now. Tight lines guys
Just crossed Oneida and she's a little angry , good east wind
