Just checked the camera, hasn't updated in about an hour, but surely up to date and working. Can't find any info on who maintains the camera, but seems like they would know whats going on there. No contact info on the webpage.

I asked a friend of mine that lives just down the lake to ask around to see what the situation is.

Heading to Oneida for a four night stay/fishing trip with the wife. Just curious as to how the bite has been. I did hear the may flies have started to hatch. This page has been quiet, figured I'd give it a bump.

It's funny we were out there a few years back and got into a massive bug hatch. Not sure what they were but they were all over us, in the eyes, ears, swallowed some. Just nuts. But so was the fishing, so we just ignored them and kept at it. One of the best bites we've been on! So now the wife has one of those bug net hats packed!

Maybe eel flies ??  I drove thru those a few times along the lake - had to pull over a few times and get the mashed nonsense off the windows - wipers couldn't even handle it .....

I’ve been doing decent on eyes shallow.

I noticed some may fly casings on the surface this week. It doesn’t seem like there will be a huge hatch this year.

I haven’t been out since opening weekend. I have heard that guys have been doing well on the eyes the past few weeks though. I’m curious if the mayfly hatch will intensify a bit with the warmer temps we have coming.
Nice job findin em
