scup
« on: Sep 04, 2017, 08:27 AM »
Was in Newport over the weekend and talked to some local fishermen fishing from shore in the bay. They had a bucketful of what they called scup (not sure of spelling), But everyone was catching plenty. Guy said they were very good eating and sold for 9 dollars a pound at the store. I lived in New England for 6 years and never tried them. Are they as good as I was told?
