Walker lake

Anyone ever fish walker lake and get anything??  I am from NY and usally go down to visit family a few times a year and have fished it from shore a few times.  Caught a few nice crappie.
A 17 yr. old that is addicted already.

I fished it last year in May and landed a nice 6.5 lb. largemouth. There's some nice bass and pike in this lake. Also tons of crappie, but most are on the smaller side.

Thanks for the compliment Charlie. He's a good one, but still has a lot of young energy.  I took him out on the boat last year and he decided to jump in. I don't think he was expecting it to be so deep. Kinda startled him. I'll work on him closer to shore this year. Don't want him to be afraid of water.

Here's a few pictures of that bass I caught in Walker last year. Sorry for the one fuzzy picture. She's still swimming up there.


Nice 6 1/2 pounder from Walker Lake on a rainy day.

No internal combustion engines on this lake. You either have to row or have an electric trolling motor.
