I live south of indianapolis.  ive have been fishing a few small ponds.  i wonder if anyone is fishing open water in my area yet?  im thinking about going over to the white river this weekend.  ive got a few crappie last weekend useing minnows and bobber.  i guess i just have spring fever.

I'm new to this sight. I have not had much luck on open water yet this year. I have caught only one small pike. Have not been on the water in a few weeks. Maybe Sat. I will get back out. Good Luck and good FISHING.

I have been fishing open water around me. Caught a few nice crappie. But not anything to wright home to mom about.

Right know I have been in the cove and off of the 105 bridge. I only live about 1 mile from the 105 bridge. I was there yesterday and had 3 at 11" and the rest was 8's and 9's caught them on green/chart. and pumkin/chart. 4 foot deep.

Yes I think we can put the ice gear away for another year. Time to get the boats rigged and head into our spring fishing patterns.
