You're better off just setting a date.  Honestly, the sooner you have a solid date for the party the sooner others can plan to come to it.  Finding a date that suits everybody isn't very likely.  Just my $.02 :)

A word of advise from someone who has learned the hard way. As the host pick a day that works for you. invite everyone that you want.
 have a blast,and don't worry about who can't come. i tried for years to accommodate folks for stuff like this and it never will be good for everybody. now i just shoot an e-mail to likely participants and tell them when and where and make it happen.

at least in the shanty  the only decorations needed by the men is ice around the keg!!!   Whats this place coming to??!!!
