I never let my gas tank go below 1/4 - NEVER.
Running gas tanks empty is the #1 reason for in-tank fuel pump failure - the fuel lubricates and cools the pump.

I never let the truck sit too long to let the gas get stale - especially with the ethanol crap in it - that absorbs water better than sponge.

Look at the nightmares ethanol has created for the boating community- especially in high humidity places like Florida..

       I'm an environmentalist, but not a wacko, a realist with environmental views ......  manadatory ethanol is good for farmers but it aint the answer. Brazil is 100% oil independant but they have an industry with 40 years evovled around cane ethenal, we don't...  Using corn is going to ruin everything including driving food prices through the roof, anyone seen the price of corn on the commodities market lately?

Yeah the price of corn is crazy. The farmer's are getting $6.75 per bushel.
We have native willows and poplars that require no added nutrients and would be more suitable. It takes lot's of nitrogen to grow corn. Lot's of Diesel to run the trucks to get the fertilizer to grow the corn to the farm. Then it takes lot's of diesel to run the farm machinery to plant, fertilize and harvest the corn.  I hope they come up with an alternative.
