Well the walleye fishing was just as advertised by Hollywood and HOOKINUP today.

I poked around looking for eyes in several spots with nothing to show for it. Then I made a big move and it was worth it.

Caught a bunch of eyes, mostly shorts but several keepers too. There were a few stretches of hits on every cast for several casts. I hardly ever fish with a sonar. Today was a great day to get some confidence with it.

Just a great day!

Good job Brotha!!   Crazy ... ain't it??

Got back out there again in the late morning and beat up on 'em some more. I left just in time to go get in the treestand. Should've stayed on the lake.  It's way past addiction at this point. It's obsession!!   :w00t:

Great Job on all the recent fishing adventures Hookin up, Hollywood and Reeleyz you guys are really putting filets in the freezer...all the hunting stuff is put away for me...just waiting for ice...with this weather you can almost leave the boat out all year... 8)

Congrats reeleyz! Glad you got into them... it takes some looking around (like any other time of year) but once you locate some, the concentration of fish is incredible compared to other times of the year.

Left a hot perch bite this morning to go look for some eyes. Had scattered marks in 41 fow. Stuck 3 perch in the first 5 casts. Two 13 inchers and this one ....

 :w00t: :w00t:   14 3/8" - my best Oneida perch yet.   :w00t: :w00t:

I will never forget this fall season !!
