NY Fisherman; Hunting Thread 2012

Last year we had a nice hunting thread. Figured it was time to get this season rolling. Quite a few of the regulars are hunting, fishing, and outdoor nuts... Sometimes threads get moved... Last year this one stayed put and was greatly appreciated.  ;D

The archery season is right around the corner. Hopefully you guys and gals have been shooting, scoutins, ect...

We have our normal 2 trail cams out - getting tons of pictures, mostly doe lately. Some bucks, a few nice 8's but nothing huge...
My time will be limited but cant wat to sit in a tree and think about nothing...  8) 8)

Starting to pick up again. Wind has made it tough lately, that and $4 a gallon gas. Water temps finally getting down where they should be.

Was fletching up some practice arrows this morning and tried a new color scheme. Usually I like two white and a yellow(I like to see my arrows disepear behind the shoulder). Anyways, I have hundreds of feathers in every color going... October is Breast Cancer Awarness Month and we have a bunch of stuff going at work with it...
I think i'll make up a few more and hunt with them this year...  :thumbup_smilie: :thumbup_smilie:
