Got out to the trout waters with fellow MFF and IS member Dwayne. The fish were around, not as numerous as previous trips, but enough to make it interesting. Aside from a group of 4 arse-oles from Ct. that followed us around snagging dead fish and moving in on our spots (while we fished them), it was an great day.
Dwayne got two female rainbows on egg sacs. neither fish was photo'd
I ended up with a few fish on the day, the nicest was this bright silver female brown Full of eggs. She took me for a hard run downstream, pulling me into my backing a few times.
Around 29 inch length 20" girth...weight...12lbs+ Don't know for sure, I let her go. Everything was released today. All these fish came on 6lb Berkley Vanish.
football shape - full of eggs
another look at the awesome colors
also got this nice buck rainbow 23"
Last fish pictured, this 31 inch male brown that actually jumped!

Sweet fish!! I caught a twin to your rainbow the other day, probably in adjacent waters to where you were. Better get ready for the ice-fishing soon.

Oh Lord - there he is, it feels like a big one, please don\'t let me lose him, I\'ve never caught one this big before. I\'ll try not to horse him, and if I land him, I promise to release him, and make a graphite replica, if my wife says it\'s ok. Thank you for the Rapalas...
